In this role, you'll be a key player executing our field canvassing operations to engage with voters and support Democratic candidates up-and-down the ballot.Field Office Associates work hand-in-hand with the entire office team under the direction of the Field Office Manager to facilitate day-to-day functional activities, manage shift logistics, and maintain an efficient office. Field Office Associates are entrusted with a variety of management duties and often called upon to assist with special projects as needs arise.The ideal candidate is a team player, detail-oriented, excels at communicating effectively across diverse groups, and collaborates cross-functionally across teams. Your ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and maintain a high level of organization will be key to your success. Professionalism and strong conflict resolution skills are essential to navigate challenging situations and foster a positive work environment.Our projects always include strong back-office operational support and strategic guidance. If you consider yourself a "people" or "process" person with a passion for community action, this position is for you!ResponsibilitiesInterview and evaluate field staff candidates.Train new team members and facilitate ongoing skill development.Schedule shifts and assign daily field teams / activities / tasks.Prepare and distribute required shift materials.Coordinate shift logistics.Supervise field teams and collect field reports.Participate in shift briefings and apply learnings / insights to improve shifts.Complete daily productivity reports, data entry, and data analysis.Support office goal setting and execution of field strategy.Contribute across office functions when needed.QualificationsPrevious experience in community organizing or related fields/roles with similar responsibilities.Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office applications.Familiarity with political organizing tools such as NGP VAN and MiniVAN.Commitment to progressive values.Must have a laptop and smartphone with data service.Must be able to work in an active field office environment with moderate physical activity (indoor / outdoor).Must have valid driver's license and be able to drive staff / transport materials as needed.At Scale, LLC recognizes that continued success requires the highest commitment to obtaining and retaining a diverse staff that provides the best quality services to supporters and constituents.
