Delta Hotels by Marriott is looking for a full-time Houseperson. This position is responsible for cleaning the public spaces, including public restrooms.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Greet guests with a friendly and sincere welcome.
• Grasp, lift, carry and/or load luggage and packages onto a bell cart to transport items throughout the hotel to designated room. Navigate bell cart through public areas, guest room corridors and to elevators.
• Requires physical stamina to stand, lift, carry and walk continuously for duration of shift.
• Delivers items such as towels, blankets, rollways to guest rooms.
• Ensuring the public spaces are clean at all times. This includes lobby area, hallways, stairwells windows, fitness center and public restrooms.
• Communicate consistently with the front desk for everyday tasks.

HOURS AND ATTENDANCE

• Up to 40 hours per week with varied and flexible shifts/days.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS OF POSITION

• Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry or otherwise move packages, boxes and luggage up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, kneeling and walking significant distances on property. Requires high levels of contact with all types of people.
• Exterior cleaning inclusive of all windows, walls and door jams a minimum of once per week, or as needed.
• Interior cleaning: pick up loose debris from floor. Daily vacuuming of interior rugs, clean windows keeping them free of fingerprints, wipe seats, seat ledges and other surface areas as needed. Clean any other interior area that would be unsightly to guests.
• All other duties as assigned.
