The Food Service Director is a key leadership position and is directly responsible for the successful operation of the Food and Nutrition Department in an acute care hospital. The Director ensures client, customer service/satisfaction with efficient cost management; meeting and exceeding client expectations. Responsible for all food service-related activities; including patient care and non-patient food services (retail, catering, etc.), quality improvement, sanitation, infection control, and all hospital-related activities. Responsible for the Food and Nutrition department at a children's hospital. B. S. Degree in Food Services Technology/ Management or related field; or A. A.
