Position Type: Full-Time (Transitional role temporarily supporting ALDI Divisional Offices with Operation Assistant responsibilities) Starting Wage: $25.25 per hour Wage Increases: Year 2 - $26.00 Year 3 - $26.75 Work Location: Royal Palm Beach, FL This role is eligible to participate in ALDIu2019s Hybrid Work Program, which allows remote work up to 2 days per week _(i.e., work remotely up to 2 days per week; work in-office at least 3 days per week)_ Duties and Responsibilities: Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation. u2022 Communicates relevant information on behalf of Director Operations and District Managers to leadership, peers and store personnel, allowing them to fulfill their job duties. u2022 Communicates relevant tasks to store personnel and completes any required follow-up process. u2022 Creates reports as required to provide information for management decision-making. u2022 Promptly processes and works to resolve operational customer complaints. u2022 Provides administrative and general office support to the Director Operations, District Managers, store personnel and other divisional management. u2022 Assists in ordering store office supplies, uniforms, and store equipment as directed. u2022 Maintains an efficient and well-organized filing system for the department and ensures items are archived and disposed of per company guidelines. u2022 Works proactively to identify, investigate, and report irregularities within designated area of responsibility. u2022 Conducts training and cross training of knowledge and expertise within area of responsibility. u2022 Acts as back up assistant, as designated by the leader, to ensure proper coverage of necessary responsibilities. u2022 Interacts cooperatively with ALDI personnel, external suppliers and service companies to exchange information and maintain a successful partnership. u2022 Job responsibilities include possible access to HIPAA-protected health information; as such, employee must comply with HIPAA Privacy and Security requirements and policies. u2022 Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to direct leader. u2022 Upholds the security and confidentiality of documents and data within area of responsibility. u2022 Other duties as assigned. Education and Experience: u2022 High School Diploma / GED required. u2022 A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience required. u2022 Or, a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge. u2022 Associateu2019s Degree in Business or related field preferred. Physical Requirements: u2022 Work may be performed in an office, remote office or a combination of both where a computer and office equipment may be used as needed to perform duties. u2022 Regularly required to sit, reach, grasp, stand and move from one area to another. u2022 Constantly and repeatedly use keyboard/mouse. u2022 Occasionally required to push, pull, bend, lift and move up to 25 lbs. Travel: u2022 Minimal travel required as needed for job related duties such as training, project work and administrative tasks.
