Position Overview:

The Clinical Director is a visionary leader and a key architect of our clinical programs and services. This position demands a blend of clinical expertise in substance use disorder treatment, strategic leadership, and operational acumen to oversee the delivery of high-quality care and ensure the facility operates effectively and efficiently. The Clinical Director will spearhead program development, staff management, and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, embodying our commitment to excellence in client care.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Clinical Leadership and Oversight:

  • Provide clinical leadership and direction for all aspects of the facility's programs, ensuring the implementation of evidence-based practices and high standards of care.

  • Oversee the development and continuous evaluation of treatment programs to meet the diverse needs of clients.
  1. Staff Management and Development:

  • Recruit, train, and supervise clinical staff, fostering a culture of professional growth, accountability, and compassion.

  • Ensure staff are well-equipped with the latest knowledge and skills in substance use disorder treatment.
  1. Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure the facility adheres to all federal, state, and local regulations and standards.

  • Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to continuously monitor and improve the quality of care provided.
  1. Strategic Planning and Program Development:

  • Lead strategic planning efforts to enhance the facility's services and expand its reach.

  • Develop and implement new programs that address the evolving needs of the community, and the field of substance use disorder treatment.
  1. Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and other healthcare providers to enhance collaboration and ensure a continuum of care for clients.

  • Act as the facility's representative in professional associations, conferences, and public forums.
  1. Client Care Coordination:

  • Oversee client care coordination to ensure clients receive integrated care that addresses their substance use disorder as well as any co-occurring mental health conditions.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's in psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of Clinical Director experience in substance use disorder or mental health treatment, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong leadership and management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to develop and implement strategic plans.

  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and quality assurance practices.

  • Proficiency in clinical documentation and electronic health record systems.

Technical Skills:

  • Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities for substance use disorders.

  • Ability to analyze data and use it to drive decision-making and improve program outcomes.

Additional Requirements:

  • Current CPR/First Aid certification.
  • Current LCSW OR LAC
