Be a Guardian of Safety and Support at Shodair. Shodair Childrens Hospital is seeking a Security Technician to join our Facilities & Grounds team. This position plays a key role in ensuring a secure, supportive environment for our patients, families, and staff. Working in the Central Monitoring Room and across the hospital campus, the Security Technician assists with monitoring, safety checks, documentation, and coordination with clinical staff. Key Responsibilities:Monitor surveillance systems and support the Security team from the Central Monitoring Room Perform preventative maintenance and security tasks; log and report results Test and document hospital equipment to ensure operational safety Assist clinical staff with video monitoring and patient belongings check-in Audit and maintain accurate security documentation Communicate incidents and concerns to Security staff and administration Stay current on mandatory training and security procedures.
