Adult Therapeutic Aide

1 Full-Time position or 2 Part-Time positions/Non-exempt

Havre, Conrad, Cut Bank, Shelby

Wage = $14.44+ DOE

Position Overview:

A paraprofessional person working on a therapeutic team facilitating clients' use of mental health services.

Job Duties:

• Provides transportation services to enable clients to learn and utilize community resources as needed
• Assists clients in menu planning, grocery shopping, socialization skills, personal hygiene skills, housekeeping skills and doing laundry
• May assist in helping clients keep appointments
• Assists in team evaluation and treatment planning for clients
• Maintains required client notes, etc. for assigned clients in accordance with Center policy
• May assist in community recovery, center activities, as assigned
• Participates in-service training and attends required meetings as directed by immediate supervisor.
• Must maintain 24 billable hours per week for full time and 12 billable hours per week for part-time; and 48-hour documentation requirement.
• Must have a personal vehicle, a valid Montana Driver's License, and current vehicle insurance

Minimum Qualifications:

• Required graduation from High School or GED.
• Two (2) years experience is preferred.
• A desire to work with people with disabilities is essential.
• Excellent written skills, computer skills, and Customer service skills.
• MT Driver's license and vehicle required.
• Travel required, will transport clients.
• Must have a personal vehicle, valid insurance, and valid driver's license.
