Transaction Processing Associate - Claims Entry Team

📍 Location: Onsite preferred (remote option available for highly qualified candidates)
💵 Pay Range: $16.00 - $17.00/hr. (exceptional candidates may be considered up to $17.50-$18.00/hr.)
🗓 Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. or 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. (flexible hours available)
📞 Claims Entry Team - No Weekends

About the Role

As a Transaction Processing Associate on the Claims Entry Team, you'll play an important role ensuring accurate and timely claim processing while upholding data integrity and quality standards.

This position offers excellent training, a collaborative team environment, and the opportunity to develop skills in healthcare and claims administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter claim data accurately into the claims processing system.
• Review all documentation for completeness and accuracy prior to data entry.
• Identify and flag missing or incorrect information for follow-up.
• Maintain productivity and quality standards in line with team goals.
• Follow established procedures and workflows for claim submissions.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding discrepancies or system issues.
• Handle all confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
• Ensure compliance with all data security and privacy standards.
• Perform additional administrative or clerical duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of administrative, office, or data entry experience.
• Ability to type at least 40 words per minute with accuracy.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail, spelling, and grammar.
• Clear and professional communication skills.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available).
• Must successfully complete pre-employment screening and drug testing.
• Experience with claims management systems or EHR platforms preferred.
• Knowledge of healthcare or insurance terminology is preferred.
