We are seeking a qualified Senior Project Manager to help our clients develop, contract, and implement natural gas and potentially renewable energy generation projects while serving as Owners Engineer and/or Advisor.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain positive and proactive client relationships.


• Achieve project schedule, quality, and profitability goals.


• Serve as proposal champion/manager and assist with proposal preparation, review of contract terms and conditions, and evaluate risks associated with the services being offered.


• Provide daily leadership to the project team and technical staff in completion of project activities.


• Provide regular communication and coordination within the project team and with the client to ensure deliverables are understood and aligned.


• Monitor project deliverables for quality, completeness, and conformance to client expectations.


• Proactively monitor and maintain the project budget and schedule; develop recovery plans as needed.


• Monitor the contracted scope of work and identify scope changes.


• Provide training and mentoring to project team staff on project management and consulting issues.


• Guide design or consulting work in the managers area of engineering expertise.


• Routinely report project progress to the local and regional accounting and operations team.


• All other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field, or combination of education and relevant project experience.


• Minimum 10 years of relevant power generation project experience.


• Registered Professional Engineer.


• PMP certification.


• Experience designing or managing simple?cycle and combined?cycle EPC projects as owner, owners engineer, OEM, or EPC contractor.


• Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects.


• Demonstrated business?development skills.


• Strong communication, leadership, planning, and mentoring skills.


• Proficiency with MS Office, Adobe, and other relevant software.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a related field.


• 10 years of related experience.


• Minimum of 5 years of project?management experience.


• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, estimating and scheduling software, and project?management software.


• Excellent organization and communication skills, both written and verbal.
