Azure Cloud Notebook Python/PySpark Developer

GovCIO is currently hiring for an Azure Cloud Notebook Python/PySpark developer to develop, test, and implement Azure Notebook, PySpark/Python ETL and is experienced in Synapse database and SQL development. This position will be a remote position with occasional on-site requirements in Fort Lee, VA.

Responsibilities

Need to be proficient in developing, testing, and implementing Notebook, PySpark/Python ETL and experienced in Synapse database and SQL development. Need to have experience working in enterprise data warehouse projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's with 8+ years (or commensurate experience) Required Skills and Experience 1. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a clearance up to a Top Secret. 2. This position requires U.S. Citizenship due to the nature of the role. 3. 5+ years' experience in development of Notebook, PySpark/Python, Synapse & Azure environment. 4. Good understanding of data warehousing, data lakes and business intelligence 5. Good requirement gathering, data analysis and customer facing skills 6. Active Security+ certification or acquired before start date. Preferred Skills and Experience 1. Clearance Required: Secret 2. Knowledge of Informatica and Teradata. 3. Understanding of BI reporting using PowerBI, business objects and Tableau.
