WHY THIS JOB: COMMERCIAL SUPERINTENDENT
A well-established Montana contractor is adding a Commercial Superintendent to support continued growth and balance workload across active projects. This role plays a critical part in day-to-day execution, ensuring projects are run safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality.
In this role, you'll be responsible for managing field operations on commercial construction projects, working closely with a Project Manager to coordinate schedules, subcontractors, and in-house crews. You'll serve as the primary on-site leader, setting expectations and keeping work moving forward.
The position covers ground-up commercial buildings, boutique hotels, and tenant improvement projects, with job sizes typically ranging from smaller commercial scopes up through multi-million-dollar builds. Projects are generally local, allowing for consistency and minimal travel disruption.
Day to day, you'll stay actively involved in the field: leading crews, coordinating subcontractors, managing safety and quality, and handling the administrative responsibilities that keep jobs running smoothly.
