Under the general supervision of the School Principal, Drivers Education Teachers are responsible for conducting an instructional program that educates students on the parts and functions of a vehicle, and on-road regulations. Teaching practical skills related to all aspects of driving. Helping students to develop confidence in their driving skills. Gaining control of the vehicle during emergency situations.

Equipment Use: standard office equipment such as personal computers, printer, copy and fax machines, and telephone.
Travel Requirements: Travels to school district buildings and professional meetings as required.
Work Schedule: Standard teacher work schedule as set forth in the Teachers' Unit Contract.

Certification/License: State Certification as required for position.
