Cosmetologist

The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity as a Cosmetologist at Montana State Hospital. This position provides beauty services in the form of haircuts, beard trims, hair dyes and permanents to patients at Montana State Hospital. Services are offered at Montana State Hospital in Warm Springs, Grasslands Unit in Helena, and Forensic Mental Health Facility at Galen.

Qualifications for this Career Opportunity:

• Knowledge of current cosmetology procedures and trends.
• Knowledge of licensure, law and regulations pertaining to cosmetology practices.
• Organizes and prioritizes tasks daily.
• Keeps records, files documents, tracks and reports data related to job activities.
• Meet the following minimum qualifications:
• High school diploma
• Licensed as a Cosmetologist in the state of Montana
